happy birthday to me...

i purposely waited up to see the birthday wishes i'd receive. shameless i know. as if you didn't know me. haha

anyway. it's nice to know that some people bother to stay up to do, in retrospect, such a silly thing. but i guess people do it coz they know how it makes the receiver feel. special. some people would deny the value of such a gesture. but its human to want to feel special. plus it doesnt take much effort if you're staying up anyway.

thinking back, the past two years were wonderful. mind-opening. character-building. life-changing. its a pity how i never realise while im experiencing everyday, but only when i reflect.

having become more comfortable being myself around people, and being more capable of making friends, i can adapt better. but this also makes me more able to move on. I DONT WANNA FORGET. canoeists who are reading this... let's meet up on the 11th of july every year k? it was the last day of our canoeing nationals. v, ky and i are bound by the covenant alr. haha. JOIN US. i'll put details on this blog. and i'll mass sms. haha.
