indeed it was horrible. i have a bad feeling. hope the bell curve is on my side. my smart friends thought it was difficult too. worried my teacher when i told her it was difficult. said if i found it difficult, then the cohort would too. haha. ego boost.
watched quantum of solace with mr white today. it was not bad. a bit violent. casino royale was definitely better. something was missing with this one. i think there wasnt much chemistry between daniel craig and the bond girl. anyway, its nice to meet up with old friends. when you get caught up in a daily routine, and see the same faces everyday, old faces become fresh faces. and old friends become the perfect people to talk to coz they have different views, uninfluenced by the routines you go through. sigh... its hard to explain so im not going to try. just know that old friendships should be maintained, as an escape from the present, on top of all the other joys that friendship brings. talked about random things. went looking for my prom clothes. and man its damn expensive. $500 might not be enough. sigh... im gonna have to work really hard this holiday. went into so many shops and couldnt decide what to get. got tired and made our way home. went to mr white's block to get james bond dvds. he's a big fan. spent quite a lot on the dvds. gonna watch a few over the holidays to see what's so interesting. told him i'd watch when im really bored. haha. wasnt trying to insult his interest. just that i think i'll appreciate it more when i have nothing else on my mind.
i decided to look for a look i like online. smart huh? haha. but i cant find. i'll have to check with my friends what they're wearing. also think im gonna ask my lifeguard friend to teach me how to swim over the holidays.
oh by the way... it's my fourth day without non-halal food! yeah man! that's it for today!
k i wanted to go to sleep but then i remembered that mr white told me about a website i could go to so i wouldnt have to read to be informed. www.ted.com. i watched this video and gosh... there are people who've got it far worse than any of us. watch this video with and open mind, and an open heart. and if it inspires you to do something positive, pass it on.

now this guy is definitely inspiring. he might sound like he's bragging sometimes but man... he's done a lot. to those of you who intend to start a business and become filthy rich really fast, please use some of that wealth to help people who cant help themselves. as for people like me who intend to work for a relatively low monthly salary, we'll join you after many years of hard work and saving.
