the longest weekend yet

third bookout. first time on a friday. wonderfully long weekend. but i shall not tire myself out too much. field camp next week so we need to rest up.

its been a quick week. i.e. to say its been busy. see that? that's army for you. who says "i.e. to say?". goodness. just elaborate can or not? can or not? can or not? can or not? that's more army for you. there's no saying things once. appreciate these insights. it's what makes SAF uniquely singapore. haha.

anyway. i've gained much knowledge, skills and experiences from the past five weeks. learnt about stuff a soldier and a leader ought to know. like weapons, life-saving, public speaking, planning missions and things like that. looking back, it could very well be worth the sacrifices.

to all friends. i'm sorry if i don't reply your msgs and i keep turning you down. perpetual lack of time. let's just say we make full use of our day. heck, sometimes i'm still sweating when i go to bed. full use. really. and sometimes i need to use time outside camp to settle things in camp. yeah i know. it sucks. but i guess OCS, like canoeing (haha!), is a lifestyle, and to live it, some compromises must be made.

anyway, i'm doing well as usual. happy with most of the current situation, though it would have been better if fewer people fell ill. but i think everyone is upping their game a bit. hope it lasts.

oh gosh...

its been a month!!! goodness. hello people. i'm still alive. been super busy lately. unbelievably loads to stuff to do. plus i need to party once in a while too. so yeah... no time to update since i'm not allowed to do it in camp and my weekends are f-ing short.

i'm doing good. just tired most of the time. lots of things to learn. sit for tests like nobody's business. worse than jc. my form teacher in upper sec told me the most stressful years are in jc. well... that's coz she didn't serve NS. seriously.

too tired still. longer update some other time. night :)
